That Rajinikanth is an enthusiastic devotee of Sri Raghavendra, has always been known by his numerous fans. Rajini even commemorated the event of his 100th by acting in the lead role of a film dedicated to the saint.
On his most recent action towards this devoted interest, it has come to our attention that Rajinikanth has contributed a hefty sum of Rs. 10 crores for the shrine of Sri Raghavendra in Mantralayam. This amount will then be used to upgrade the structure of the temple. According to the authorities the old buildings on the rear side of the Sarvagnya Mandir would be dismantled and 25 fresh A/C cottages and 100 general rooms would be constructed. There are even further plans to set up a garden with the remaining funds.
