It was a great loss to the film industry when famous South Indian classical dancer and film actress Rajasulochana breathed her last today. The actress who has been a popular name in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam movies during the 50s and 60s took her last breath in Chennai today. As it turns out, the 77 year old actress had been suffering from renal problems and had undergoing treatment.

Rajasulochana was an extraordinary actress of her time and has had the pleasure of performing with all the big name south Indian superstars of her times including but not limited to MG Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, NT Rama Rao, Raj Kumar, SS Rajendran, AP Nagarajan and MN Nambiar. However, dancing continued to be her first love and being a dancer herself, she founded the Pushpanjali Nritya Kala Kendram that has contributed to a large number of classical dancers. Even in her death, the actress will continue to live on in the hearts of her numerous fans.
