Rajamouli’s Eega is a box office blockbuster. Rajamouli showed the world that he can score a hit even with a film that has a houseful in the central role.
Coming to the point, Netflix has now dropped the trailer of its upcoming series, Man Vs Bee. The trailer clearly implies that the series is heavily inspired by Rajamouli’s Eega.
Mr. Bean fame Rowan Atkinson plays the lead role in the Netflix series. In Eega, the housefly attacks the antagonist, but in Man Vs Bee, the Bee comes after the protagonist, who later wrecks havoc.
Netizens are commenting that Netflix is 10 years too late with Man Vs Bee as Rajamouli has conceived and executed a film on very similar lines in 2012 itself.
The series will start streaming on Netflix from 24 June, as confirmed in the trailer.
