Rajamouli & Shankar Missed the Audience PulseChina has become a big market for Indian cinema for the people have enjoyed the stories that were realistic and dramatic but natural. While Aamir Khan’s Dangal did wonders and has been made a biggest Indian blockbuster by the Chinese, Rajamouli and the magician director Shankar faced very bad rejection there.

The box office numbers were very poor than expected. Well, the significant reason for the same is that the China audience seems to have less taste of VFX and visuals with costumes. They love films like Dangal which are simple and no graphics with an emotional family drama.

Even Andhadun was received well there than that of these humongous projects of Shankar and Rajamouli.

Though 2.0 has also not done that great in India too, a film like Baahubali 2 to face disappointment makes it clear about the content that the China audience is looking for.
