Rajamouli is the biggest commercial filmmaker in Indian cinema and it is an absolute dream for every actor to work with him. But here’s the story of an actress who narrowly missed featuring in Baahubali over an interesting reason.
The said actress is Raashi Khanna and she revealed how she narrowly missed out on Baahubali offer.
“I went for Baahubali auditions. But Rajamouli sir felt I looked a bit too cute for the role. The sword in my had didn’t quite suit my demeanor. He then said to me that I looked a bit too smooth and he wanted someone who could also carry a rough look. He then referred me to Oohalu Gusagusalade” Raashi revealed,
The actress went on to say that Oohalu Gusa Gusalade changed her career for good and she received offers from Tamil and Malayalam industries after this film established her as an actress.
Of all the reasons, Raashi missed out on a role in epic Baahubali for looking too cute for the character that was eventually played by Tamannaah.
