Cinematographer Senthil has been associated with director Rajamouli since NTR’s ‘Yamadonga’ days as his DOP to ‘Baahubali’, and now he is back for RRR. So, no other cinematographer would know the inside workings of Rajamouli like Senthil.
Talking about his experience about working with Rajamouli for so many films, Senthil says that with each film Rajamouli tries to push boundaries and work something better than the previous one. Only people who can take up that challenge and keep themselves updated can work with him.
So, the celebrated director is going to do the same for his multi-starrer RRR with NTR and Ram Charan. For him, as a cinematographer, RRR is going to be difficult than Baahubali. Baahubali in Mahisthmati kingdom was an imaginary work and the visual brilliance was needed.
However, the pre-independence era is realistic and people know the history. So, authenticity matters the most here. So, Rajamouli has to go beyond audiences’ expectations. By the way, DOP Senthil promised excellent performances from both the lead actors.
