SS Rajamouli is by far, one of the very best commercial filmmakers in Indian cinema. He followed up the epic Baahubali duology with another box office winner, RRR. KGF fame Prashanth Neel has also announced himself on the big stage now with KGF 2. Interestingly enough, both these directors take a very similar approach.
Rajamouli retains his core team for all his films. He has been working with the same technical team – K Senthil Kumar (cinematographer), MM Keeravani (music), among others right from the start of his career. He knows their capabilities inside out and vice versa. With such a stable team, Rajamouli is able to bring his vision to life on the big screen.
Interestingly, even Prashanth Neel is sharing the same recipe. He too is working with the same team all through his brief yet highly successful career. He has been working with Bhuvan Gowda (cinematographer) and Ravi Basrur (music) right from his first film, Ugramm to his recent outing KGF 2.
As it appears, both these directors appear to be keen on working with the same technical team for all their projects. While other directors like to explore other options when it comes to music and cinematography, Rajamouli and Prashanth Neel are thinking otherwise.
