No Indian film is even remotely close to RRR when it comes to global acclaim. The international audience are going berserk as they appear to have thoroughly enjoyed watching RRR.
Incidentally, RRR‘s one-off screening was held at as many as 150 locations across the USA the other day, June 1st and it was a gala affair.
Following the screening, Twitter is flooded with posts from foreigners who are evidently super impressed with the Rajamouli directorial. Even renowned outlets like New York Times and Film School Rejects are terming RRR a must watch.
The kind of international fame and acclaim that RRR is getting is dream stuff for any Indian film. No other Indian film has come close to RRR in regard to global accreditation.
Previously, Pushpa also got a wide reach on OTT, but it was mostly confined to Pushpa mannerisms, and Srivalli step. But in the case of RRR, the film as a whole, is being lauded.
After KGF 2’s release, a section of netizens were comparing Prashanth Neel with Rajamouli. But with RRR’s reception at the USA box office, it is clear that Rajamouli oka vaipu, chukkalu oka vaipu.
It all started off following RRR’s debut on Netflix later last month and it has reached new heights after the one-night screenings yesterday.

So. #RRRMovie, the #encoRRRe. An insane spectacle, the shortest three hours I’ve ever spent in a theatre. I may never need to see another movie pic.twitter.com/2Xio8OdvCG

My mom cannot remember the last foreign film she's ever seen, yet she has agreed to see RRR knowing nothing but the running time.
She's gonna leave me so much more in the will after this, y'all.

On the other side of RRR and that might have been an out-of-body experience. Went in mostly cold and it was honestly a top-tier trip to the movies #encoRRRe pic.twitter.com/gEvuSLThm2

The fact that this could be a half dozen (or more) scenes from @RRRMovie is wild and you should see it ASAP. And pester your local theaters to bring it back if you can! https://t.co/Uxa4PM4wzs

#RRRMovie needs to be seen to be believed. Rush to your nearest theater. Squeal with joy. Gasp in awe. You will regret missing this. https://t.co/4jYmjRWMQf

Tried to see RRR last night for a 1 night only screening but @AMCTheatres lost the second half of the film. They made us wait 40mins before telling us so and sending us home. @AMCTheatres showed zero respect for the presentation of the film.

Time for RRR: Round 2.

"RRR" was the perfect blend of fun and insanity and sincerity and wonderfully over-the-top action scenes. At 3 hours long, it could've ended 4 different times. But I prayed it would keep going, and my prayers were answered. Find @RRRMovie and watch it at all costs! #RRRMovie https://t.co/THC7eLIZdT
