Rajamouli's Mahabharat: Just Imagine The Scope and RangeTollywood’s Most Successful Director, SS Rajamouli who recently recovered from Coronavirus infection gave a TV interview for the first time the other day to a TV Channel. In the interview, he was asked about his ambitious Mahabharat Project which he always termed as a Dream Project.

“I really did not have an idea about how I will do it. It will take 7-8 years to go on floors and can be made in six or seven parts I do not know. It is easily a ten-years project. I will definitely make it but I do not know at this point in time,” Rajamouli said spicing up things.

Even though Rajamouli did not give any finer details of the project, one can easily imagine the scale of the project. A mythological film made in six-seven parts in ten years is something unimaginable on Indian cinema. It is something similar to Harry Potter or similar franchises.

The Project is difficult to execute since the actors should look the same throughout that ten years span and Rajamouli should also find actors who can afford to dedicate one decade of their career to this series. At this point in time, this is an experiment that even Bollywood makers can not dare to do.

Just imagine the scale and range of VFX work that can go into this project several years later due to the technological advancements then. It will be the Red-letter day in the history of Indian Cinema when the project begins. We should be eagerly looking forward
