It’s rare in the film industry that a successful maker keeps his commitment even after a decade. These days one success or failure can make all commitments go haywire. And SS Rajamouli is one such person who abides by his commitment, no matter how old and no matter what may come.
SS Rajamouli recently revealed that he had promised to do a project ten years ago for KL Narayana under his banner Durga Arts. And his project with Mahesh babu is going to be that film.
He also added that this project with Mahesh Babu was finalized much before the global success of RRR. He said that the film is going to be a global adventure film that can be made in many ways.
Rajamouli also pointed out that the Hollywood agency CAA has come on board for this project. But he said there’s still some time to go before he and his team figure out what to do and how to do the film.
Durga Arts has been lying silent for many years. Their last film was Rakhi in 2006. Rajamouli could have gone for any big and happening banner in the world. But he gave respect to his decade-old commitment to KL Narayana.
Now it’s time for Mahesh Babu and KL Narayana to shine on the global platform.
