Rahul Ravindran, the actor turned director just delivered a decent output with Chi La Sow. Keeping the commercial aspect aside, he passed the debut test as a director. The new director has already signed his next for Annapurna Studios which he will give an official announcement next week along with the cast details etc.
Apprising that he has two scripts, one social drama, and one screwball comedy ready in hand, Rahul revealed that Nani promised to do a film with him before Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and clarified why is that not going to happen. Not that Nani gave hand, but as Rahul explains, the script which was agreed to make with Nani didn’t feel apt for the hero after a blockbuster like BBM and the duo left that part there.
Of course, sometimes the time decides which script to be done with whom and what time. Now that Rahul is content with his direction and the first film turned positive talk, we should see if he will be able to survive as a director here forth.
