Rajamouli and Prabhas’ respective films, RRR and Radhe Shyam were the only big ticket films that were set for release in January, 2022. In fact, movie buffs were excited to usher in the New Year with these big budget films.
However, as things stand today, given the cases of new COVID variant Omicron on rise, which also has put restrictions on entertainment avenues by various states, RRR has got postponed. The RRR team will make it official.
Meanwhile, it was speculated that Radhe Shyam would also follow the suite. However, the makers have debunked the rumours by coming up with an announcement poster. The poster reiterated that Radhe Shyam has no change of plans and is arriving on the stipulated date, January 14, 2022. With this Rajamouli has made way for Prabhas.
RRR was the only big ticket film to clash for Radhe Shyam makers. But with the former postponing the release date, it comes as advantage for Prabhas film. At least, audience won’t get divided.
Currently, Radhe Shyam release date is on track. The film has two weeks to go to hit the screens, but it can be uncertain if the given conditions turn worse.
