Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam is going nowhere in the Hindi circuit. The film has collected around Rs 4.5 crores nett on its second day, which is almost the same as the opening day.
Till now, Radhe Shyam has collected Rs 9 crores in two days. This would mean that the film has recovered around 8.2% in two days.
The film’s Hindi theatrical rights are valued at Rs 110 crores and with 9 crores in two days, the film still has a long way to go if it is to enter the safe zone.
The common opinion on social media is that Radhe Shyam is on the lines of Bollywood love dramas. “Bollywood audience are looking for proper South Indian commercial potboilers. At this point in time, why would they encourage Bollywood-styled love drama, which they have watched already?” A Bollywood observer said.
Meanwhile, the makers of Radhe have announced that the film has grossed over Rs 119 crores till now.
