The unit of Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan starrer Race Gurram is racing against time to complete the post production of the film in time. The film as we know was initially slated to release on April 4 but was postponed later by a week to April 11. The reason for the postponement was said to be cashing in on the holiday in that week but there seems to be another reason and important one at that, behind it.
Sources say due to the extensive nature of action and VFX used in the film, the time taken to complete the post production of the film would be more than usual. It was one of the reasons for not releasing the theatrical trailer immediately as well. And a look at the theatrical trailer made it clear that lot of work still need to be done on the film to get the final output. Nonstop, day and night work for the next few days can only get the film getting ready on time otherwise it too faces the threat of being postponed. To avoid that possibility the unit is working extremely hard to finish it as soon as possible. As things stands today the unit is targeting first cut to be ready by Monday, if that happens Race Gurram will arrive on time.
