Sometimes from something which seems to be like a very mundane event, an emotional connect or a strong brotherhood emerges making even the routine seem special. After all Cinema is also part of our life and cine folks are very much human. During the shooting, ‘Rabhasa’ got postponed for considerably long period and rumours about the director’s illness made headlines. The production unit of the film rubbished the news as rumours.
For others ‘Rabhasa’ audio launch event might be a routine gala function with star studded glitterati and extravaganza. But for director Santosh Srinivas it was an emotional journey throughout. When director Vamsi Paidipally revealed that Santosh Srinivas literally fought with death and finally came out victorious…tears welled up the eyes of Rabhasa’s director.
Director V.V.Vinayak’s gesture wishing Santosh Srinivas a block buster hit for all the struggle he has gone through is like reiterating that they are all brethren. He opines that for all the struggle and the family members prayers, he deserves a super hit. His emotional speech included a promise to NTR’s fans that he would do ‘Adhurs 2’ with NTR soon and admist NTR’s fans cheerful applause, he gave word on the behalf of Rajamouli that there would be a Rajamouli’s film with NTR after he completes ‘Bahubali’.
When it was the turn of director Santosh Srinivas to speak on the stage, overcome with emotion and literally crying, he expressed his gratefulness to NTR and producer Bellamkonda Suresh. Srinivas humbly oblized that he would be indebted to them life long. NTR hugged his director and hoped his film would become a hit atleast for the sake of the director. The programme started as a routine audio launch affair, got into emotional mode and showed what it is called ‘celebration of being alive’ and finally ended with a happy note, NTR singing his song.
