producer pvpProbably this might be a big shocker for a heroine of Shruti Haasan’s stature that the matter of her walking out of Nag-Karthi’s multi-starrer would lead to criminal case being filed on her by the makers. She belongs to a very reputed family of Indian Cinema and she, herself is one of the most sought after actress in Bollywood as well as South Film Industries.

This shock for Shruti Haasan set in motion the discussion on the indicipline and the need for strict rules that can make actors comply with the contracts. While PVP is the man who opened the Pandora’s box of the woes of producers when such unprofessional behaviour is meted out to them, many producers also are coming in support for him alleging the apparent indiscipline in the industry.

Producers like Suresh Babu, Madhura Sreedhar, Shobu Yarlagadda and many others are now voicing their opinion on the present trend when actresses are signing back to back films and making some films to suffer at the cost of others. They see the need to arrive at a fresh set of rules and regulations which would put a check on present state of affairs in the industry.

In the entertainment industry many things go with mutual understanding and cooperation and hence taking legal actions or involving in controversies isn’t a good thing opine the film makers. But when it comes to the level of wasting crores of money and working hours of others involved in a project, a regulating authority is what is the need of the hour. Do you agree or hold a different opinion?
