The world’s 3rd ranker of women’s singles of Badminton, PV Sindhu addressed the aspiring girls to overcome the obstacle named ‘periods’ that visits every month. Calling the periods, not a big a deal, Sindhu shared her first period experience.
The shuttler was in training academy when she got her first period and she just borrowed a sanitary pad from her senior to get through the long hours of practice. That is what the commitment is. Sindhu asks the girls not to let the periods come in the way of their dreams.
“Why would you still not want to put in that extra? Why would you give up on your dreams? Is it simply because of your periods?”, she asks. Her message was truly inspirational on the World Menstrual Hygiene Day. Well, she is determinant and stubborn to achieve the status what she has now.
