The teaser introducing the character of Pushpa Raj from Pushpa is out after great hype. It can be said now that it lives up to the immense that is built on the forest action-adventure movie.
Right from the start, we get a colourful and larger than life appealing movie. It is similar to director Sukumar’s previous flick in that way, and further in maintaining a raw and rugged feel throughout. The red-sandal smuggling theme too is conveyed clearly.
Stylish Star Allu Arjun has gone for an extraordinary makeover and looking at the teaser one can say it is all worth it. We see only the character of Pushpa in the teaser instead of Allu Arjun and that is the best compliment one can give. We get only a glimpse of the diction here, though, which apparently is a major highlight.
The teaser further reveals the core content of the movie and setting really well. The forest backdrop looks refreshing as not many movies are made in Telugu with such subjects. The setup and the action scenes in it look like the biggest USP of the movie, so far. Devi Sri Prasad has always given his best to Sukumar. He seems to have come up with another winner here.
A film in Sukumar’s direction itself carries huge hype, now imagine a film in Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s combo that delivers two memorable movies together. Add Mythri Movie Makers banner and the rest of the team comprising Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist, Pushpa is without any doubt among the most eagerly awaited movies of the year.
