Rumors are rife that Pushpa: The Rise and KGF 2 might be locking horns at the box office this Christmas holiday season.
While the first instalment of Pushpa has to start from scratch, KGF 2 can build on the the solid platform laid by the first part, KGF, which received a thumbs up from pan-India audiences.
Coming to the topic, Pushpa: The Rise is nowhere close to KGF 2 in terms of ‘interests’ registered on online ticket booking platform, BookMyShow.
Pushpa has registered a total of 42.2K interests on BookMyShow till now. On the other hand, KGF 2 has clocked over 331K interests. Statistically speaking, KGF’s tally is roughly 8 times higher than that of Pushpa: The Rise. The aforementioned statement can be cited as the reason behind KGF 2’s overwhelming dominance.
KGF 2 has garnered attention from other language markets, including Telugu and Hindi. As for Pushpa, the film is yet to pick up the pace in other markets. This is evident in the case of the ‘interests’ registered on BookMyShow.
Ajith’s Valimai tops the list with 1812K interests and there is no other Indian film even in the vicinity. Next on the list is KGF 2 with 331K interests.
