He may be young but Puri Akash, son of Puri Jagganadh, has his career planned up much in advance. It might come as a surprise for many but this young and aspiring actor has always wanted to act since class II, but said that he wanted to concentrate on studying, and therefore, only ended up taking small roles.
Akash has so far played the younger versions of Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan. He made his cinematic debut with his father’s film Chirutha, in which he played the young Ram Charan. He however added that he always wanted to play young Mahesh Babu, and his dream came true in Businessman, which was also directed by Puri Jagannadh. He played full length role in Dhoni, which was directed by Prakash Raj and a children’s film called Lotus Pond.
Akash says he has one more project in hand and after that he will stop acting and focus on studies. After he completes schooling, he intends to go to New York Film Institute to pursue acting full time.
