Not often does a director reveal the story of his upcoming film before its release. But Puri Jagannadh, being Puri Jagannadh has revealed his upcoming biggie, Liger’s story even before the film’s release.
In his latest interaction with the media, Puri gave a brief look into the world of Liger. He revealed the theme and the basic setup of the film.
“Liger is essentially an action thriller. It revolves around a mother and her son. The mother dreams to see her son as a national champion in Martial Arts. But he then goes on to become an international icon. In the process, he also falls in love with a rich drama queen. How does Mike Tyson get involved with it? This forms the story of Liger” Puri said in the interview.
Puri is evidently coming up with another one of his typical commercial potboilers. His narration and screenplay will hold the key for Liger now.
Liger is set for release on the 25th of this month. The film is registering good advance bookings in the Telugu states and also overseas.
