Actor Aakash is firm on his stand that Puri Jagannadh had indeed lifted his story and whatever he has been speaking about iSmart Shankar was not a drunk talk. He had been giving interviews demanding compensation from Puri for lifting his story that was released in Tamil in 2016.
The same movie was dubbed into Telugu as ‘Kothaga Unnadu’ and the actor says that this was his last attempt to come back to Telugu films, and he has spent around Rs. 2 crores on the movie and all that would be gone as everyone would think that his movie was a copy of ‘iSmart Shankar‘ than the other round.
The actor accused that there were many people who tried to stop his films during the initial stages of his success when ‘Aanandam’ came and turned out to be a super hit in 2001. He mentioned at least five films that could have been super hits and built his career, but then, several people stopped him and his success.
The actor made serious allegations claiming how people tried to limit him to sidekick characters and character roles when he actually made a smashing debut. Despite Aakash’s claims, neither Puri nor his team reacted to his allegations, till now.
