Puri Jagannadh is basking in the unexpected commercial success of iSmart Shankar and is touring the Telugu states owing to the victory. Well, that is the most required and awaited success for the director who has delivered six flops in a row but how far will this achievement last if he is not delivering another hit next? Is he too happy to care?
The director’s comments on Mahesh Babu have already got him into trolling business with the fans bashing for saying that Mahesh works only with the successful directors and never gave him a chance while was suffering flops and a bad career. Also, there is this allegation of “script copy” by a forgotten hero, Akash who demands compensation from the director and even filed a legal case against Puri for copying his script.
Well, Puri’s response to these controversies at a press meet shows how less he cares about any issue now as he enjoys the pride of the success. He didn’t even care to say anything in his defense about copying allegations and directly denied answering the controversy with Mahesh Babu.
Looks like, he is too intoxicated to care about these things which may have been a matter to address if the result of the film was any different.
