Puneeth Rajkumar’s Final Wish UnfulfilledKannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar sadly passed away earlier today. He died of cardiac arrest. The film fraternity has been sharing fond memories of Puneeth after his untimely demise.

Incidentally, Meher Ramesh, who is directing Chiranjeevi for his next film Bhola Shankar has made an interesting revelation regarding Puneeth Rajkumar.

“After Bhola Shankar was announced, Puneeth called me and congratulated. He then asked me to provide him at least a small role or even give the opposite to feature alongside Chiranjeevi in a dance bit in the film,” Meher Ramesh said.

Notably, Meher Ramesh had previously collaborated with Puneeth Rajkumar for a Kannada film titled Veera Kannadiga, which happened to be the remake of Jr NTR starrer, Andhrawala.

Well, sharing the screen with Chiranjeevi appears to be one of the final wishes of Puneeth Rajkumar but sadly, it has gone unfulfilled.

On a related note, reacting to Puneeth’s passing away, Chiranjeevi wrote “Shocking ,devastating & heartbreaking! #PuneethRajkumar gone too soon.
Rest in Peace! My deepest sympathies and tearful condolences to the family. A huge loss to the Kannada / Indian film fraternity as a whole.Strength to all to cope with this tragic loss.”
