Mani Ratnam’s next is going to be a romantic movie starring Karthi in the lead, who had once worked under the ace director as an assistant director. ‘Premam’ fame Sai Pallavi was announced to play Karthi’s romantic interest in the film.
Now we have a different news making rounds. Mani Ratnam replaced Sai Pallavi with another actress from Mumbai. The reason is the intimate romantic scenes he needs to shoot for the film. He felt Sai Pallavi isn’t matured enough to play the role. Hence the change.
Actually the ‘Premam’ actress is said to be making her Kollywood debut with Mani Ratnam’s movie. Since she is replaced, now Tamil audiences have to wait for some more days till the very talented actress entertains them through a straight Tamil movie. When will she come to Telugu?
