US President Barack Obama is in all praises for a budding Indian-American astronomy buff, 15 years old Pranav Sivakumar who has the distinction of being the first person to be a Global Finalist in Google Science Fair twice.
He was a special invitee to the Astronomy Night organized by Obama this week at the White House. Pranav is an An eighth grader at the Illinois Math and Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois.
He is also one of 20 teens from across the world to be named a finalist in Google’s online science and technology competition. “The boy’s achievements are not what usually one thinks at that age. Please give him a big round of applause”, Obama announced at the event.
