Prakash Raj, as an individual has a clear conscious about politics, his take on various political parties and the issues concerned. In a recent media interaction, the actor lashed out at Prime Minister Modi for spending a lavish Rs. 3000 crores on the statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel when he gave only a few hundreds when Kerala was hit severely by the floods.
He called Modi ‘megalomaniac and ego-centric’ who is insensitive towards the plight of Kerala when the floods hit it badly. Prakash Raj further elaborated, “When the agrarian crisis has been happening in the country and the youth are asking or jobs, he has no right to do this to this country and it is our money.” The Prime Minister has been facing flak for his insensitiveness towards Kerala and spending lavishly on a statue.
Prakash Raj also spoke good things about #MeToo campaign congratulating the women who are coming forward to share their pain. He said that it’s a shame that men are predators and they need to say sorry to women though they say that they didn’t intend to cause pain to women. “It’s shameful to ask for evidence when a woman complains,” opined Prakash Raj. True.
