The remake of Rajamouli’s ‘Magadheera’ in Bollywood has been on cards since long and time and again there had been rumors that big names would be involved in the remake. Now, the latest buzz is that Prabhu Deva is going to remake it in Hindi.
It is going to be remade with Bollywood hero Shahid Kapoor playing the lead. Prabhu Deva’s recent directorial ventures in Bollywood were big disasters and hence he is now working in South films, especially bilinguals. Remaking South super hit films in Hindi has been Prabhu Deva’s forte in Hindi.
He remade ‘Vikramarkudu’, ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Nuvvostanante Nenodhantana’ in Hindi. Though the first two were super hits, the third one was a disaster followed by a couple of other disasters which were straight films. So, will Prabhu Deva rise again with ‘Magadheera’ remake.
