Director Nag Ashwin is becoming a producer with Jathi Ratnalu releasing on the 11th of this month as Maha Shivaratri Special. The young filmmaker will be directing Rebel Star Prabhas in a Mega Budget Pan-India film. He revealed some interesting things about the film on the sidelines of an interview.
About the film:
Prabhas film is a different world altogether. For Mahanati, I could rent the cars and use them. For this film, we have to design the cars, costumes, etc right from the scratch. So, it is taking the time. We are planning to go on floors in July. The shoot will go according to the dates then.
Prabhas:
Prabhas is a different person. He does not talk about the collections, openings, social media followers, and other things. I do not know if he is aware of what is happening on social media. Whenever we meet, he just talks about the stories of his previous film, current film, and our film. He is not the one who hurries a director. He is always willing to give the time a film deserves.
Film Work During the Lockdown:
I have spent some quality time with my family. Prabhas film has got okayed two weeks before the Lockdown. I was writing the script, doing the pre-production, and interviewing the technicians who would work for the film. And then, there is also this X-Life for Netflix (Pitta Kathalu).
The yet-to-be-titled movie stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead and Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan playing a crucial role. Vyjayanthi Movies will be bankrolling this Pan-India movie which will be one of the costliest in the country.
