There is a famous saying in the film industry that reads – a director is only as good as his previous film. If a talented director delivers a blockbuster, star heroes will be ready to work with him. But if things go South, it is a completely different story altogether. Prabhas‘s directors are learning this valuable lesson the hard way.
Sujeeth and Radha Krishna Kumar, who worked with Prabhas for Saaho and Radhe Shyam respectively are struggling big time now.
A while back, it was heard that Sujeeth will direct the Telugu remake of Lucifer but that didn’t happen. He then signed a deal with a Bollywood production house but there is no update on the project.
Same with Radha Krishna Kumar, he is not making any noise after the release of Radhe Shyam. It is safe to assume that he doesn’t have many lucrative offers in hand now.
“Star heroes will continue to make big films even if their previous films flop. But upcoming directors should always be on the top of their game when it comes to working with star heroes. A big flop could well end their career for good,” this is another famous saying in the industry, and the aforementioned instances prove it right.
