There is a huge land pooling and donations going all around for the building of the capital of the new state Andhra Pradesh. One major requirement for any capital city is an airport, so it doesn’t come as surprise that land pooling for airport is also as big as it is for capital.
According to latest reports as much as 494.22 acres of land has been collected from nearly 475 land owners. One among them happens to be veteran star hero Krishnam Raju. He is said to have donated 32 acres of land for the airport expansion in Gannavaram.
Those who have donated their lands will be duly compensated by the Government. For every acre that they have donated they will be compensated with commercial land space and house site in Amaravati region. Additionally an amount of Rs 50,000 would be given to them initially within a fortnight. Good deal, don’t you think?
