First of all Young Rebel Star Prabhas must be genuinely appreciated for literally putting aside four years for a single film, in this case, two part film Baahubali. He is integral to the movie but no matter what the makers say to appease fans, it was a director’s show.
The situation would have been even worse if there wasn’t a Mirchi, which was a big blockbuster entering into top 5 in its time, a first for Prabhas. The star will now have to resume his journey again from the upcoming film which is going to be started on February 13 (muhurtham).
If we leave the credits issue aside what Baahubali has also done is increased the reach of all its cast on a pan-India level. Prabhas is going to test this pan-India appeal with Sujeeth film which will be made on a massive scale and in three languages. This film would be the real test for Prabhas, if this clicks, there would be no looking back for him. Also, he would become the first actor to have three back to back 100 Cr films.
If the multi-lingual production fails, he can always fall back on any top directors from Telugu cinema (Boyapati Sreenu, Trivikram Srinivas, Surender Reddy etc). And he could still come up with massive buzz. Any which way we look, Prabhas career will be a force to reckon with in the coming few years unless he messes up big time in planning. We wish him all the best for a new beginning or rather resuming his career.
