Prabhas has been lining up a series of pan-India projects, namely Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adipurush, and others. All his forthcoming projects are being mounted on a lavish scale.
Now, an interesting speculation about Prabhas’s remuneration has surfaced on the internet. Apparently, Prabhas is charging as much as Rs 150 crores for his upcoming biggie Spirit, which will be helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
If Prabhas really is charging as much as Rs 150 crores per project, it needs to be said that he has jetted off the ‘Tollywood’ league. His remuneration is bigger than the overall budgets of mainstream Telugu biggies which have top stars like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, and others in the lead roles. It simply wouldn’t be right to confine him to Tollywood anymore.
It appears to be that Prabhas is charging higher than the Bollywood Khans, Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir. And that might make him one of the highest paid actors in Indian cinema.
Prabhas’s immediate next outing, Radhe Shyam is up for theatrical release on the 14th of January. If the film clicks at the box office, we can expect Prabhas to hike his remuneration further.
