Sumanth Prabhas is making his debut as hero, writer, and director with Mem Famous releasing on 26th of this month. Chai Bisket and Lahari Films who delivered a Blockbuster like Writer Padma Bhushan is bankrolling the film and are doing some innovative promotions.
“Anurag and Sharath offered me this opportunity after watching my Pilla Pillagadu Webseries made during my college days. They gave me everything I need to do the film. Initially I was only the writer and director but came on board as hero after I wasn’t satisfied after the auditions,” he said.
“I have so much of fascination for Youth stories especially those in Telangana. One such story is Mem Famous. It is the story of three guys who want to become famous with everything they do in their village. It is going to a laughter riot and audience will enjoy for sure,” the youngster said about the movie.
He also explained the innovative promotions of the film. “It is not easy to register a small film with a poster. We toiled hard for one month but did not get any idea. We got this idea after the trailer release. It worked very well. Every video got Millions of views and everyone came to know about our film and release date,” he explained.
He also explained the ‘Prabhas’ in his name. “In our college, we always keep our favorite hero’s name at the end of our names. I love Prabhas so much. I added his name to mine and kept my Facebook profile as Sumanth Prabhas. Thus I became Sumanth Prabhas,” he revealed.
