Adipurush hashtag has been trending big time on social media today, April 21, as it marks the auspicious Ram Navami day. As the film is based on a mythological tale- Ramayana, buzz had it that the makers would give an update at 7:11am today. Since then social media is agog with hashtags #Adipurush and #Prabhas trending big time. But to the chagrin of Prabhas fans, they were left disappointed as no update came their way.
However, disgruntled fans didn’t lose hope and they continue to tag director Om Raut expressing their displeasure and hoping that soon an update may come. Since Adipurush is based on a mythological tale –Ramayana, the team may not miss the occasion. Much to their surprise, Om Raut tweeted, however he greeted Happy Ram Navami greetings.
Om Raut tweet reads, “One emerged from Ikshvaku dynasty, known to people as Rama by name. He is with a controlled self, highly valorous, resplendent, steadfast and a controller of his own senses. राम नवमी की मंगलमय शुभकामनाएं! #HappyRamNavami”.
The tweet by the filmmaker added fuel to the fire. Netizens who were already waiting for a big update from the team since morning, left irked after Ram Navami greetings. This has made Prabhasians irritated not once but twice as they felt cheated two times with no updates.
Subsequently, a section of netizens have come up with memes on Adipurush delay and are having a field day. But we have to see how the team reacts; will they give an update on this pious day and satiate Prabhas fans are to be seen.
