Prabhas’ mythological film Adipurush has been making noise even before the film went on floors. Tanhaji fame director Om Raut is helming the project and owing to Prabhas’ pan-India popularity, the film has massive hype.
The film which was being shot in Mumbai has come to a screeching halt after the state government imposed lockdown and restrictions on film shoot with the second wave of COVID. The team has completed 60-days of shoot and remaining 90-days are remaining to wrap up the filming process.
With the restriction from Maharashtra government, rumours are that the Adipurush team is mulling to shift base to Hyderabad and complete the remaining portions. Since the film deals with heavy VFX work and majority of the shoot will be indoors only, thus the team is assuming that Hyderabad will be a safe destination to shoot. Buzz has it that the team may land in Hyderabad by May 15.
However, cases in Hyderabad are surging now, while Maharashtra has reached the peak stage. With COVID cases on upspring and the cases yet to reach a peak in Hyderabad, Adipurush team seem to be taking a risk. In fact, Pushpa team which adamantly continued the shoot despite criticism has paid the price as Allu Arjun contracted the virus.
Now, Prabhas continuing the shoot amid COVID on the rise is a risky affair. Seems like Prabhas hasn’t learnt a lesson from Bunny. Follow Mirchi9 on Google NewsThis Week Releases on OTT – Check ‘Rating’ Filter
