Prabhas – Bollywood’s First King From The South! The Khans, Aamir, Salman, and Shah Rukh, are the biggest stars of Bollywood by a margin. They have been at it for almost thirty years. They have seen many highs and lows and bounced back. But, eventually, any stardom has to come to an end. Not a sharp decline but a decline nonetheless.

Shahrukh Khan, once the biggest among them is struggling to get a big hit for a long time. His problem is he has been strongly linked to the romance genre, and he is unable to reinvent, outside that genre. Salman Khan is the mass hero, but it is getting hard for him to replicate success using the mass movies. He is also shifting towards content based movies, but it will be getting harder with each passing year. The fact that Salman Khan is struggling to put together a project post-Tiger Zinda Hai should explain his predicament.

Aamir Khan is going through a dream phase for more than a decade, and yet he has not been in competition with anyone. He is in a league of his own and will continue to be so as long as he retains his strong acumen with scripts. Among the rest Hrithik Roshan is at rock bottom, Akshay Kumar has shifted to purely content oriented movies, and Ranbir Kapoor is completely lost.

In the current situation and post the phenomenal success of Baahubali, it looks like things have been perfectly set up for Prabhas to usurp the kingdom of the Khans. There is a genuine and visible chatter for Prabhas’s upcoming film Sahoo among Bollywood fans. The cast and crew also are more Bollywood centric. Everything is in place, and if Sahoo delivers well in the action space, Prabhas would be established as a top star.

With age on his side and years of experience in doing masala action aided by the lack of competition among young Bollywood stars, Bollywood could be finally looking at outsider from South as king, number one star, for the first time in history. Everything is now in the hands of UV Creations and Sujeeth. Let us see where they take Prabhas post-Baahubali.
