Young Rebel Star Prabhas is making his Bollywood debut with Adipurush, directed by Om Raut. This film marks Prabhas’s first-ever mythological film, and the actor was shooting for Adipurush in Mumbai until recently.
Director Om Raut shocked and surprised everyone when he recently said that 30% of Adipurush’s shooting was complete, in an interview. It looked as though very little shooting took place, but with the director saying that 30% of the shoot is done, a lot of eyebrows were raised. Given that Adipurush is a mythological film, there would be a lot of stuntwork, VFX, and a lot more that needs to be done while shooting, so it is definitely a surprise that the director got so much done within such a short span.
In the same interview, Om Raut said that Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan have undergone phenomenon physical transformations for their roles, and have strived every day to make sure that they’re in shape for their role.
The team of Adipurush has announced that a special surprise would be announced at 7:11 AM tomorrow, 21st April. Adipurush is scheduled to release on August 22nd, 2022, and though there’s a lot more work to be done, director Om Raut expressed confidence in being able to stick to the release date.
