Prabhas fans weren’t too disappointed with the non-performance of Radhe Shyam because they thought that his upcoming slate of films are extremely promising and there would be no looking back from here on.
But the release of Adipurush’s teaser has completely changed the scenario. The extremely negative reaction from all quarters to Adipurush made the makers postpone the film until April/May of next year.
Then there’s Prashanth Neel’s Salaar and no one has any clarity on whether the film will be released in one part or two parts. What’s the status of the shooting? Will it make it on the proposed September date? Or will there be another delay?
Project K is another mega-budget film coming from the sophisticated director Nag Ashwin. There are reports that the film will release in 2024 on the occasion of 50 years of Vyjayanthi movies. But fans are not sure because of the high technical values, the film might also be delayed.
Sources say that Prabhas has silently started the shoot of another film in the direction of Maruthi. The film is being planned as a quickie. This is the film fans were least excited about. But this film might target a late 2023 release which might be the reason for Salaar getting pushed to next year because chances are too less that three of Prabhas’ films would release in 2023.
Prabhas is committed to doing a film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. There is absolutely no clarity on whether this project will start or not. Even if this project materializes, it won’t start before 2024 and might release in 2025.
At one point in time, all these projects looked so promising and fans were so excited. But now these 5 projects are causing more confusion than excitement. And fans are worried that Prabhas’ peak period of stardom is getting wasted.
