Vijay Deverakonda was tipped to be the big-ticket from a Tollywood tier-2 hero that would shake the box office. But that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Now, the focus is on another potential pan-India biggie from tier 2 hero, Ram.
Ram is working with Boyapati Sreenu for his next project and it is billed to be a full-blown mass masala. Of late, the Hindi folk have been raving for mass masala Telugu action entertainers and Boyapati is a master of the trade which could greatly boost the box office prospects of his film with Ram.
Ram had already stated that he knows full well that the Hindi audience too is craving Telugu content and he will deliver the same with Boyapati’s film.
Of late, Telugu films with pan-India dreams are incorporating Bollywood style when it comes to narration and even songs. If Ram-Boyapati film can avoid this bump and offer proper Telugu entertainment with a mass masala touch, it has great potential in the Hindi belt.
We are hearing that Boyapati is penning a proper commercial potboiler with a fair bit of stylish action quotient. Needless to say, the box office prospects will depend on the final content that Boyapati and Ram churn out.
