Popular Telugu News Channel anchor Radhika Reddy committed suicide by jumping off a building in Mossapet, Hyderabad from the fifth floor. The anchor was found dead, immediately owing to the injuries she suffered.
Radhika Reddy is a popular name on the Telugu News Channel, V6 as a newsreader. She is survived by a 14-year old son who is mentally retarded. According to the police’ version, they found a suicide note at her place in which she wrote that she was suffering from acute depression and nobody is responsible for her death.
Radhika Reddy has got divorced from her husband six months ago and was living with her son and father in a flat of an apartment in Moosapet. Police had registered the case and trying to further investigate if there is a different angle to this suicide even though depression is mentioned as the reason in the suicide note.
