After ‘Magadheera’ scored a phenomenal success in Telugu, there had been a buzz that it would be remade in Hindi with young hero Shahid Kapoor in the lead. Though this news was in the buzz since long, nothing happened actually and it has been pending.
Once again, there is news that the makers of the Bollywood version want to remake it. Shahid Kapoor will be essaying the role Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde of ‘Mukunda’ fame will be playing the princess role essayed by Kajal Agarwal in the original.
Pooja Hegde has made her debut into Bollywood with a period film ‘Mohenjo Daro’ starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead which turned out to be a disaster. This one would be her second chance at essaying a period role if this buzz turns out to be true.
