Bhumika, who is now a mother, considers her return to the silver screen as her second innings. Having earned some mixed reviews for her performance in Ravi Babu’s Laddu Babu, the actress is determined to continue acting but she wants mature roles as she feels she’s not heroine material anymore.
What kind of roles would excite her. From playing a young mother to even sister roles, Bhumika is game. She said that she’s currently listening to several scripts but she’s not happy with the roles she’s being offered. She said she wouldn’t mind waiting but she would only sign a project if she’s completely convinced with her role.
Looks like Bhumika is following in the footsteps of several recent heroines who have opted for different professional careers after their stint in films.
