Ashok Selvan, who plays the lead in Pizza 2: The Villa, rose to fame with his role in Soodhu Kavvum. He is now all set to be seen in a lead role in upcoming film Pizza 2: The Villa, and he says for the role in his film, he had to nearly gain 8 kg in 15 days.
He says since he plays the role of a writer in the film, his director was particular that he grew from a boy to man. He asked him to grow beard and gain weight. He wanted him to look like someone who his over 30 years old. He admits the transformation was challenging, but enjoyed doing it.
Pizza 2 is being dubbed in Telugu as well and is expected to release soon. It was supposed to release in November, but it seems like it has been postponed now.
