On the occasion of the birthday of actor Rana Daggubati, the makers of his upcoming film Viraata Parvam have released the first look poster of his character. He plays a Naxalite in the movie, and we can see him the same getup.
As the caption of Viraata Parvam says – Revolution is an act of Love, the movie is about ‘love’. How the background of Naxalism fits into the narrative is the critical element. The period setting of the film further adds to the intrigue.
Venu Udugula of Needi Naadi Oke Katha fame helms Viraata Parvam. Apart from Rana, Sai Pallavi and Priyamani will play prominent roles. Recently Nivetha Thomas too, has been roped for a key part.
Rana, who is making very different choices and creating a unique niche for him in Telugu cinema, is bringing another such unique story in Viraata Parvam. It was supposed to arrive a lot earlier but got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
