Andhra Pradesh government is almost on the verge of finalizing the architect for the key buildings in Amaravati. Norman Foster who etched the plan for Supreme Court of England and Masdhar city in Abu Dhabi. The state government has three options right now and Foster is the front runner.
On the other side, the state government had decided to take Austria Capital, Vienna as model for Amaravati as the city focuses more on public transport. Even though the plans are not immediately implemented in Amaravati. The city planning will be made according to the this plan which will be implemented in future.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is likely to take a final decision on the architect very soon and it will be then officially announced. Sources say Norman Foster is almost confirmed pending the financial discussions with him.
