Jallikattu issue has gone far and wide and there had been a huge debate between the animal rights activists like PETA and the people who had been supporting the traditional bull taming sport, Jallikattu.
When PETA commented on Suriya’s support to Jallikattu as a promotional stunt for his upcoming movie ‘Singam 3‘, Suriya was furious for hurting the morale of his team and hence filed a legal notice to the organization for belittling their pro-Jallikattu stance.
Now, PETA offered an apology and the official spokesperson of the organization took back the comments made on Suriya. But, there is an underlying sarcasm in the comparison made by her saying that they support the promotion of good film but not cruelty to animals. Like he is a dutiful officer in the film, they are doing their duty towards animals.
