People Media Factory No Quality Only QuantitySeveral Regular producers have gone out of business in the last few years. We only see some production houses doing films continuously around the year. People Media Factory is one such production house.

TG Vishwaprasad, a software business owner in the United States runs the production house which is making all sorts of films – small, medium, and big. Initially, the production house used to do films in partnership and has recently been doing them independently.

Recently in an interview, TG Vishwaprasad is seen saying they are keen on becoming the production house to complete the fastest 100 films in the industry. This is a big statement to make because a production house doing 100 films is not a simple thing. Dil Raju happened to complete only 50 films in fifteen years here.

There is an impression that the production house is after quantity ignoring quality. For instance, their last three films – are Dhamaka, Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi, and Ramabanam.

Dhamaka is low on content but was a lucky escape for the production house due to Sree Leela and the songs. They scored disasters with PAPA and Ramabanam.

Ramabanam is a classic example of how the production house is faltering in selecting the right scripts and mounting them on the right budget.

Speaking to M9News before the release, Gopichand said, “They are nice people. But I told them not to be so nice as people will eat money”. We immediately asked if it is about his own film too.

“It happens with every film including mine,” Gopichand minced no words indicating what is happening.

Also, they also earned a name for taking up projects rejected in other banners. For instance, they took over Prabhas – Maruthi project after Danayya decided to exit it. It happened with some other films as well. Since they are under pre-production now, it is not wise to name them.

We do not know the fate of Prabhas film or other films yet, but that does not give a positive impression about the production house to take up such rejected projects.

The few hits they have are also when they did partnerships. One would wonder if they are missing a trick with the target of the fastest 100 films. More than the number, it is all about the quality they generate, only then, they will earn a good name as well as the glory of a remarkable production house.

There are very few production houses that make films around the year. Such production houses are important to keep the industry running and generating employment. But it is equally important for them to maintain their balance sheets with a decent number of successes. People Media Factory should take care of it.
