Payal Rajput wasn’t naive to special songs before and we’ve seen her dancing for a peppy number in Bellamkonda Srinivas’ movie ‘Sita’. Now, there are rumours that she was approached for special songs of two of the prestigious upcoming movies.
However, the actress trashed the rumours and said that nobody approached her regarding the special songs and she has been listening to fresh scripts and hasn’t signed anything on the dotted lines.
It would have been great for her career if the rumours about her doing item songs in big movies aka Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa‘ and director Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s combo’s ‘Indian 2’ were true.
We have seen how Payal Rajput had a great start with ‘Rx 100’, but later her career didn’t take the expected turn. Playing a second fiddle or inconsequential roles in a few films didn’t help her much.
So, special songs in big movies would’ve actually brought her back to the limelight. Nowadays, special songs aren’t taken in a derogatory sense as even the top heroines were seen accepting them for the fun of it.
