Pawan Kalyan's connection with most Telugu films

We don’t have to talk about Pawan Kalyan’s popularity, but we do have talk about is how several Telugu films are trying to cash in on his popularity. From Ram Charan to Nithiin to Sai Dharam Tej, everybody wants to ride on Pawan Kalyan’s popularity.

Ram Charan did that in Zanjeer by putting up a life size cut out of Powerstar in the opening scene of the film, while Nithiin dedicated a song to the actor in Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and has named his character as PK in his upcoming film ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’.

One of the examples is the title of upcoming Telugu romantic-drama “Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham”, which is named after of a song of the same name from Pawan Kalyan-starrer blockbuster “Gabbar Singh”, but its makers confirm that it’s not a publicity stunt.

“Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham” is one of the chartbuster tracks from “Gabbar Singh”, which had music by Devi Sri Prasad. However, producer Dil Raju who is presenting the film said that they are not cashing in on the popularity of the song or Pawan Kalyan.

Apparently, post the release of “Gabbar Singh”, composer Devi Sri Prasad had asked Dil Raju register this title and he did so. When director Ravikumar was searching for a title for his film, Dil Raju had asked him to use this title.

He also said that this wasn’t the only title they had in mind. In fact, they had four other titles and they took a poll to zero in on this particular title. Moreover, they decided to go with this titled because they also felt the story and the title went hand in hand, and therefore, it made sense to stick to it

The film features Sai Dharam Tej, nephew of Pawan Kalyan, in the lead alongside Regina Cassandra. Ravikumar Chowdary will helm the project, slated to go on floors soon.
